What started in California and spread like wildfire to Connecticut has now apparently jumped the pond as well:

Washington Post writer Jay Mathews has an interesting piece today about the Parent Trigger. He has a healthy dose of skepticism about the idea, which I very much appreciated, but I think he is missing the point a little bit.
